I found this image today, unsharp and with grains. But I really liked it. It says Kodak Safety Film 5063, but it looks very much like Tri-X. I have several Kodak color negatives form the early and mid 1980 s.

Most scanners these days implement ICE to avoid scanning scratches and dirt. Unfortunately, silver halide B&W films do not scan well with an ICE enabled scanner, the silver grains trigger the same corrections as if they were dust particles.
